Throughout the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 news and magazines apps in Latin America experienced varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a detailed look at their performance:

NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting strong with approximately 233K downloads at the end of June and experiencing a dip in late July to about 145K. The app rebounded in early August with around 240K downloads. Active users steadily increased from 1.47M in late June to nearly 2M by the end of September.
